Favorites...
Hey guys!!! Everyone has to have a favorite food and color, or at least most people do... but I was wondering what your favorite food, color, and TV show is! For example, my favorite foods are spaghetti, my favorite color is yellow, and my favorite TV show is American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. They rock! But that's just my opinion... so tell me yours!

Teams and Homerooms
Hey guys! As most of you people that used to be from Ivy Hill, we're going to Thomas Middle School!!!! They're are two teams, Alpha and Beta. And to each team, they're are homeroom teachers! Could you guys please tell me which team and homeroom you have? By the way, I'm on team Beta and have Mr. Aho as my homeroom teacher.
Myrtle Beach
I just got back from my summer vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and I had the time of my life!!!!! My family and I went to the beach every single day, and then we would go to the pool afterwords! I'm pretty sure my skin is 1 or 2 shades darker than it was before!!! Our schedule for MOSTLY everyday:

- Walk to the beach!
- Pack up and go to the pool
- Go back up to our room and shower

Thomas Middle School
Is anyone except for me excited for Thomas? I can't stop thinking about how I'll do in Middle School!!! I KNOW that there won't be bullies that shove us into lockers, but I'm nervous about the teachers and being late to class. The teachers aren't EVIL, but I'm thinking they give out a lot of homework or don't help students a lot. Does anyone else feel this way? And what are you worried about?

Last Day of School
OMG!!!!! Tomorrow is the last day of school, and I'm SOOOOO excited. It might sound strange, but I think a lot of people feel like this too: I'm SAD!!!! I'm so sad because I'm leaving Ivy Hill FOREVER!!! I know I could always come back to visit, but I'll never be a student there EVER AGAIN. :( Pretend I'm a mom... THEY GROW UP SO FAST!!!! Heheheh... I learned that from my own mom! But I can't wait until tomorrow because we're preforming our skits about what we're nervous for in Thomas. My team is Tommy, Olivia, Conner B, and me! We picked to do the one that we're afraid about making new friends. It's really funny, because I'm Brianna and I'm REALLY popular since Tommy is my Butler/Bodyguard!!! His name is Chives!!! I know it's a food, but it's a butler name!!! Conner is this guy named Scott who repeats what I say. Olivia is the victim, and her name is Elizabeth. She tries to be my friend, and I act all snobby and tell her NO SIREE!!!!!!! It's really funny, at least I hope it will be!!!!!

Joke #4
Pillsbury Doughboy Obituary
Veteran Pillsbury spokesman Pop N. Fresh died yesterday of a severe yeast infection. He was 71.
Known to friends as Brown-n-Serve, Fresh was an avid gardener and tennis player. Fresh was buried in one of the largest funeral ceremonies in recent years. Dozens of celebrities turned out including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Aunt Jemima, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Skippy. The graveside was piled high with flours as longtime friend Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, describing Fresh as a man who "never knew how much he was kneaded."
Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes -- conned by those who buttered him up.
Still, even as a crusty old man, he was a roll model for millions. Fresh is survived by his second wife. They have two children and another bun in the oven. The funeral was held at 350 for about 20 minutes.

Joke #3
The President's Puzzle
Dick Cheney walks into the Oval Office and sees The President whooping and hollering.
"What's the matter, Mr. President?" The Vice President inquired.
"Nothing at all, boss. I just done finished a jigsaw puzzle in record time!" The President beamed.
"How long did it take you?"
"Well, the box said '3 to 5 Years' but I did it in a month!"

So once again, I POLITELY (yeah, right) ask you to comment/email on this post so I can know what you guys are doing this Summer! I really want to get together with you guys so we can do some fun stuff. Only my friends. Not some weird hobo from the streets. Come on guys, people I like to hang out with. Girls, I mean! Sorry about that, folks! I can't wait until the sunny hot time of the year so I can tan at the pool!! I know you can't wait either, so just tell me what you'll be doing this Summer, whether it's a vacation, cruise, or plain nothing!! Anything is acceptable!!!

Rockin' With The Cops
OH MY GOSH!!!!! The total party of the whole 5th Grade! About 250 people were at the party at Pioneer Park (I think it was there) and we had a blast!!! A lot of people said that it wasn't the best during the beginning, but at the very end it was amazing!!!! So at the end, there was a cannonball contest that would see who could make the best cannonball!!!!!!! Joey was in the top 3, and when they were finding the winner, he made a Call Me signal and pointed to the audience!!! SO FUNNY!!!! But even with that, he didn't win. This BIG guy who did 2 belly flops won. Go figure! And after they announced the winner, this 6-pack police officer did a crazy flip dive and got a CRAZY amount of applause!!! SO DID OFFICER VEENSTRA!!!! But after that, everyone at the party was gathered around the DJ box thing-ma-jig and doing the craziest dances ever!!! This one guy was doing the shimmy to another guy who kept backing away from him! I would be too! And Sean doing the Macarana... let's just say that he kept grabbing his butt and shaking it in every direction!!!!! Oh gosh, I wish I could have uploaded the video from my phone, because it was awesome!!! Then all the Ivy Hill kids started doing the dance to La Bamba when the DJ put it on, and some people we didn't even know started copying us because they didn't know that we had LEARNED that dance!!! Everyone was screaming their hearts out, and mostly me... I beat Brendan in a screaming contest!!!!! And after that, all we did was pack up and leave. IT WAS THE MOST AWESOME NIGHT EVER!!!!!!

5th Grade Show
I'm SO excited for the 5th Grade Show! It's on Monday, and I'm really nervous about the costume changes and the dances. I think I might not make it in time for the costume changes, because I take quite a while! That's why I wake up an hour before catching the bus to school! A girl needs her time in the morning... I love the dance to Peggy Sue, even though I'm not in it! This boy who I will not mention his name looks like he really likes dancing that song, especially through the "Monkey Part," or whatever YOU call it. It's so funny, and the girl songs are more calm, which is TOTALLY not my type of music. It's OK, but I would prefer louder and more exciting music. But hey, the singers/composers are already dead, which means the music's pretty old! The dance to La Bamba is also pretty awesome! I feel really Hispanic during the song, especially since we're going to be wearing those arm thingy-ma-jigs. But I feel pretty stupid during the dance break when we have to put our hands behind our backs, bend our knees, and turn around in a circle. If you don't get what I'm talking about, just do my explanation. I'm pretty sure you'll feel stupid too! But other than it, it's really awesome. Let's not forget the dance to Sitting on the Dock of the Bay! All you really have to do it sit against one of your friends or the wall and do hand movements! That's the part of the show that I'll get to relax! I hope everyone's heard about me being SpongeBob. If not, I'M SPONGEBOB! (For Yellow Submarine.) And guess what... Andy's the shark! I'm going to be dancing in the back of the stage, and wait for it... Andy's going to come out and chase me off! Oh well, it can't be that bad... then again... (Makes scrunched up face and pretends to think.) Heheheheheheheh... So that's the BIG news on the 5th Grade Show, or at least it's what I just thought of right now. If you have any more important news on the 5th Grade Show that I missed, don't be afraid to comment!!!
Sweet Home Alabama
OK, so the 5th Grade Show is coming up, and most people don't know the dance to Sweet Home Alabama!!! I think that since Ms. Putz (is that how you spell her name?) was going to leave anyways, it would have been best if Mrs. Opitz had created the dance. I just think that it's too complicated to have no one around to know how to teach it to us. A bunch of my friends agree that it's really hard not to have a teacher telling you how to do the RIGHT dance. I mean, come on! I'm not saying that the dance isn't good, it's just that we don't know if we'll be able to preform it the RIGHT way on the show day, which is less than a week away!
Joke #2
Essential Desert Objects
A judge was punishing three men because they had committed a crime. Their sentence was a few years in the desert. He said that they could each take one thing with them.
The first guy decides to take an umbrella, so that he can have shade whenever he wants.
The second guy decides to take a water bottle so that he won't get thirsty.
Finally, the third guy decides to take a car door.
The judge asked, "Why in the world would you want to take a car door?" The man replies, "Just in case it gets hot, I can roll down the window."

Joke #1
The Flight Attendant
An airline captain was helping a new flight attendant prepare for her first overnight trip. Upon their arrival, the captain showed the flight attendant the best place for airline personnel to eat, shop, and stay overnight. The next morning as the pilot was preparing the crew for the day's route, he noticed the new stewardess was missing. He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up to ask what happened to her. She answered the phone, crying, and said, "I can't get out of the room!" "You can't get out of your room?"; the captain asked. "Why not?" She replied, "There are only three doors in here," she sobbed, "one is the bathroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says 'Do Not Disturb'!"

Swine Flu
Yup, that's what I'm writing about. I can't believe that it has already KILLED people! Horrible, huh? Actually, you could just call it the pig flu because swine means pig... heheh. It makes me feel better that people are actually finding ways to treat it.
Summer
Summer's coming up and I'm not sure what I'm going to do! So if you have a blog, leave comments on what YOU'RE going to do!
End of School
I can't believe that school is almost over! I mean, we're leaving Elementary School forever! Or as a student, at least. But teachers sure expect a lot from us during these last couple of weeks! Turn in this, turn in that, don't forget blah-blah-blah, hang in there... but really, we're used to it, right? Everyone who's been here since Kindergarten or Preschool really knows what I'm talking about!
Camp Edwards
Hey guys! Everyone went to Camp Edwards, right? Well anyways, it was awesome! The stinkin' weather satellites got it all wrong; it didn't rain a drop! Going on the canoes were awesome, and so was archery! I'm pretty sure that everyone agrees with me, unless you fell in the water from the canoe or you got hit by an arrow in archery! Hey, let's not forget the coach bus! Yeah, that's what I said; COACH BUS! It was really awesome! Lots of people fell asleep either on the way to Camp Edwards or back to school, but I was awake the whole time. There was even a bathroom! Can you believe that? It's like an airplane, except it's on the ground and the bus has more leg room! Heheh... but other than that, it was an amazing trip!
